The rental lake house was fairly clean, the views were awesome from the front porch. Lake Abilene was beautiful with a little beach and pier. The path around the lake made for a great bike ride. The campground area is nestled into the woods with clean showers and toilets. The pool had the clearest water with lots of places to lounge around the pool! The park staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be back!
It's a great place for a family to go camping Our Lake Abilene is right so you can go fishing it's just a really really nice place to go if you enjoy being outdoors in the summer they have a swimming pool they also have a building U can rent for family reunions and things like that I believe the occupancy for that particular building is 50
Great place to hike, bike, camp and swim also some good places to fly a kite. Very peaceful.
Stayed at lake house and our family loved it! Getting ready to rent again! Out family has our reunion at the park every year and everyone enjoys the air conditioned building we rent plenty of space and fun for all!
